For those of you who might think that I just up and died, no such luck. I did, however, completely lose my ability to eat the way I like to eat. I lost my taste, I lost my foodieness, I lost my purpose. But only temporarily.
I'm pregnant, you see - ecstatically so, but food & I have been waging a epic battle that I nearly lost. I am, however, able to think about writing for my blog now without also thinking about burying my head in the toilet. It's hard to even photograph food when you can't even look at it straight on.
So this is, in essence, an apology and an excuse all rolled into one. Also a promise: this will not become a mommyblog. Don't worry. I'll keep my private parts private, and keep my foodloving parts public. I'm so happy to be back.
Yeah! I was afraid you were gone forever...
ReplyDeleteOh yay yay yay! I was secretly hoping this was the reason you took a break. So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and welcome back.
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy to send along my recent photos from Succotash and Thomas. A friend and I always love to photograph our food.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the pregnancy!
Looking forward to hearing about your eats soon.
Congrats! And thank goodness you're all right, I was worried.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to the land of the eating.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Sara! I really missed your food blogging, I think I checked about every 2 or 3 days for updates. Glad you are back :-)

Oh, great! Congratulations and glad to see you're back up to blogging again.
ReplyDeleteFrom a mom of four, I can tell you that kids take you on a whole other food adventure. Enjoy the journey!
Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Sara! I was beginning to worry, and I hope the early pregnancy troubles are over. (It's a terrible misnomer that we call all-day-and-night nausea "morning sickness.")
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!!!
