I posted to Flickr some pictures from our weekend at the Apple Festival in Weston. What a fun weekend with apples galore, wine tasting (and buying) at Pirtle's, and excellent meals at The Vineyards and the America Bowman.
The highlight, however, has to be these doughnuts. I'm sure they have them all year 'round, but we save our trip to Vaughn's Orchard for the fall when we can take the ride over the hill to the pumpkin patch and finish our excursion with a bag of apple fritter doughnuts. As you can see from the photo, I couldn't even wait to taste one.
